Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping

Free Standard Shipping — FedEx / UPS

Free shipping is available on orders that meet the minimum purchase threshold displayed at checkout. Most orders ship to the 48 contiguous United States via standard ground service within 1–2 business days of order confirmation.

Expedited Shipping — FedEx / UPS

Expedited options are available at checkout. Delivery timeframes are estimated and provided by the carrier. Pierre Lighting is not responsible for carrier delays once the package has been handed over.


Signature Requirement

An in-person signature is required for all orders above a set value threshold. The carrier will not leave the package unattended. If no one is available to sign:

  • The carrier will reattempt delivery per their standard schedule.

  • After failed attempts, the package may be returned to Pierre Lighting.

  • Re-shipment fees will be charged to the customer. No refunds will be issued for returned packages due to missed signatures.


International Shipping (Freight Forwarder Only)

Pierre Lighting ships internationally exclusively through the customer's freight forwarder to a U.S. address. We do not offer direct international courier shipping.

A tracking number will be provided once the shipment is dispatched.

  • An in-person signature is required upon handover to the freight forwarder.

  • Pierre Lighting's responsibility ends at the moment of signed receipt by the forwarder or their agent.

  • All import duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Packages refused at customs or returned due to unpaid duties will not be refunded.


Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, you must:

  • Photograph the outer packaging, inner packaging, and all damaged items before unpacking.

  • Retain all original packaging materials — carriers require these for inspection.

  • Report the damage to Pierre Lighting in writing within 48 hours of delivery at contact@pierrelighting.com.

  • File a claim directly with the carrier using the tracking number provided.

Claims submitted after 48 hours or without photo evidence will not be honored.


Shipping Address Corrections

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • A re-shipment fee will be charged before the order is resent.

  • Pierre Lighting will not absorb costs resulting from customer address errors.

Please ensure your address includes all necessary details such as apartment numbers, suite numbers, and building names.


Uncollected Packages

Pierre Lighting is not responsible for packages that are not collected or received. If a package is returned to us, the customer will be charged a re-shipment fee to send it again. No refunds are issued for uncollected shipments.

 

Chargebacks & Fraud

By placing an order, you confirm you are the authorized user of the payment method used. In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, Pierre Lighting will provide the payment processor with all available evidence including order records, tracking, and signed delivery confirmations. Fraudulent chargebacks will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.
